To secure your place in one of our programs, a non-refundable deposit is required, which will be applied
toward the cost of your program. For 100 hour programs, a $1000.00 non-refundable deposit is required, for 250 hour
programs, a $1500.00 deposit is required, and for 350 and 500 hour programs, a $2000.00 non-refundable deposit is
required.
Key Lime Air will carry the amount listed in the "Earn While You Learn" column above, to be automatically repaid
through salary withholding. One half of the remaining money owed is due prior to starting any program. The program
cost must be paid in full at the time of completion of the SIC checkride for 100 hour programs, or for 250, 350 and 500
hour programs, the program cost must be paid in full after the first 50 hours of flight time.
A refundable deposit of $300.00 will be required for housing. The cost of any damage
or non-returned items will be deducted from this deposit. The remainder of the deposit
will be returned to you within ten days of completion of your training.
Refund Policy
If for any reason the First Officer candidate discontinues
training after ground school and initial aircraft training, a partial refund will be
applied. For the Piston Program, a sum of $2500.00 shall be withheld and a refund of $35.00
per unused flight hour will be returned to the student. Should the candidate
discontinue training prior to accomplishing any aircraft training, a
sum of $1500.00 shall be withheld and all remaining money in the student's
account will be refunded. For the Turboprop Program, a sum of $6000.00 (due to cost of SIC
Type Certificate training) shall be withheld and a refund of $35.00 per unused flight hour will
be returned to the student. Should the candidate discontinue training prior to accomplishing
any aircraft training or Simulator training, a sum of $1800.00 shall be withheld and all
remaining money in the student's account will be refunded.
